Control Contraction Metric Synthesis for Discrete-time Nonlinear Systems

Flexible manufacturing has been the trend in area of modern chemical process nowadays. One essential characteristics flexible is to track time-varying target trajectories (e.g. diversity and quantity products). A possible tool achieve targets contraction theory. However, theory was developed for continuous time systems there lacks analysis synthesis tools discrete-time systems. This article develops a systematic approach control using Discrete-time Control Contraction Metrics (DCCM) which can be implemented Sum Square (SOS) programming. The proposed demonstrated by illustrative example.
